For 2007 the Javea Civic Society report the local holidays as these

 

20th January

Fiesta of San Sebastian

17th February

Carnival including street procession

6th to 9th April

Easter and Craft Fair in the old town

23rd April to 3rd May

Fiesta in honour of Jesus of Nazareth. Many events including bull running

9th to 24th June

Fiesta of Saint John. Including processions, bull running, street dances. On the last day there is a spectacular firework display followed by the burning of the fallas

13th to 15th June

International Festival

16th July

Fiesta of the Virgen del Carmen. Held in the port for the sailors and fishermen. During the morning the fishing boats go out into the bay with the image of the Virgin and scatter flowers on the water

16th to 22th July

Moors and Christians fiesta in the port. In the evenings of the last two days there are spectacular costumed parades with brass bands and decorated floats

27th July to
2nd August

Fiesta in honour of the Virgen de los Angeles.

25th August to
8th September

Fiesta in honour of the Virgen de Loreto, the patron saint of the port. The fiesta includes bull running, parades of floats and culminates in the firework display which includes water fireworks

1st November

All Saints Day

6th December

National Fiesta

8th December

13th December

Fiesta in honour of Santa Lucia
