Overall rating 6
by Simon & Claire Barugh in the summer of 2005 who say “The staff were friendly and we got a free bottle of wine which was O.K. The portions were decent, but it was nothing special. (Evening)

La Bodeguilla
Overall rating 7/8 by Simon & Claire Barugh in the summer of 2005 who say “Super "Free" garlic dip starter, and the staff were very nice. We went early on a Sunday evening (7.30 pm) and maybe they were not up to speed. The starters were poor, but the main courses were a little better. We had a bottle of white wine called "Ferret" which was actually all right, as was the house red. The place was clean, with good views, and great coffee. (Evening)

Piri Piri
Overall rating 10 by Simon & Claire Barugh in the summer of 2005 who say “The owner of this restaurant (Andreas) is very good. He has only a couple of other staff members, but they cope with everything. He speaks very good English (although he allowed me to attempt everything in Spanish), and he explains clearly what everything is on the menu. If you want to sit outside, you need to book well in advance, we got turned away on our first attempt. The food was fabulous, and the house wines, both red & white were very drinkable. Always ask for the "Daily Specials" they are just a bit different, and the Tapas are also very good. The views are fabulous. Tel: 96 5794745

Pizzeria La Quinta

Denia

We have never bothered too much about Denia because of the parking problem. However with the new large underground car park and the new Port development we now go to Denia more often. These are some of our favourites there.

Café Solo

Now one of our most favourite restaurants. You can find it just past Garfio in the new port of Denia. Very very Spanish especially late on a Friday or Saturday. Overlooks the port. Unless your Spanish is very good ask for an English menu. Not cheap but very good ambience outside most of the year or inside in a winter evening
